A grin on face, blinky eyes

Chocolates I need of my own choice.

No fear no worry, no pain no agony

Life moves on like a magical symphony.

Away from adulthood.

Wow! So beautiful was my childhood.

Scramble used to be the game of choice,

Mine was once, an unstoppable voice.

Beating the wind with my new cycle, off I went,

Life was synonymous with an innocent scent.

Milk was my hatred, but sweets were sacred.

Away from adulthood

Ah! So beautiful was my childhood.

The mind was full of serenity.

And heart was a bounty of amenity.

Where is it now, that sense of integrity?

Magic moments gone left far behind,

It is difficult now for anyone to find.

Beating the laws of nature , I want to go

Back to my past where life is not a show

The sweetness of childhood,

I want to experience again

A life, led by a free rein.

Away from adulthood

So beautiful was my childhood.
